5 Days Serengeti Tour

5 Days Serengeti Tour will start from Arusha to lake Manyara is 130 km travel taking almost 2 ½ to reach the lodge where you will have your lunch because it will be in the afternoon thereafter you will be heading to lake Manyara for afternoon game drive.

This lake covers 3 of the park and it’s a shallow soda lake running across the Manyara national park which is one of the gifted parks in Tanzania its located along the western landscape of the Great Rift valley. The park consists of a lot of habitats making it to accommodate a lot of animals.

Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara

The safari from Arusha to lake Manyara is 130 km travel taking almost 2 ½ to reach the lodge where you will have your lunch because it will be in the afternoon thereafter you will be heading to lake Manyara for afternoon game drive. This lake covers 3 of the park and it’s a shallow soda lake running across the Manyara national park which is one of the gifted parks in Tanzania its located along the western landscape of the Great Rift valley. The park consists of a lot of habitats making it to accommodate a lot of animals such as large number of elephants. The most unique characteristic of these park is that it`s only park in the world that has lions who can climb trees making a lot people astonished. Without leaving behind the flocks of flamingos that flood the lake due to presence of algae that driving them to into the lake, making the lake appear so marvelous. After this awesome game drive you will return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at your own standard.

Day 2: Lake Manyara to Serengeti Plains

On this day soon after having breakfast we will be heading to Serengeti national park taking us 6 hours to cover a distance of 205 km passing through magnificent farmlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro conservation. Reaching the endless plains of Serengeti at an area called Seronera area which is concentrated with a lot of wildlife habitats. Thereafter arriving we will have lunch and have an afternoon game drive Along the Seronera river that play a vital role to insure survival of species around it these draw many wildlife near the river for easy access of water. Later on we will return to Seronera area for dinner and overnight at your preferred standard.

Day 3: Serengeti Plains

In the morning after breakfast you will either decide to take hot air balloon which is available at favorable cost. Being among the advantageous people who have glide in the balloon. While gliding you will have e an overview of the beautiful landscape of Africa rich in animals. You will float silently across many villages and rivers having a great view. On the other hand you may take normal game drive where we will drive along the Sogore circuit that extends into the plains on the southern part of Seronera River having a great view of lions, Thomson gazelle, topi, cheetah and ostrich. Thereafter we will be heading to the visitor center which is near the Seronera lodge. The center comprises of gift shops selling information leaflets together with maps, also it provides some amazing wildlife display. There are also shops selling drinks and snacks as well as areas for picnic, which are shaded by giant acacia trees. It’s the place where we will have are delicious lunch. The center is nearby kopje so after taking lunch we will drive along the kopjes circuit. These kopjes are weathered granite outcrops scattered around the plains. They provide shade and water which are obtained from pools left after rain season on the rocks. This attract most animals more especially in dry seasons such as large mysterious cobras and lions who rest on the kopjes waiting for the prey coming around for drinking water in the pools. Thereafter we will return back to the Seronera area for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Serengeti Plains to Ngorongoro crater

This day after taking a delicious breakfast we leave the Seronera area and head to Ngorongoro conservation which is a safari of 145 km taking you 4 hours to reach Ngorongoro conservation. But on while on they we pass by the Olduvai Gorge for some historical inquiring. This is place where the skull of first man to leave on earth was discovered by the anthropologist Dr. Lois Leakey and his wife Dr. Mary Leakey who was an anthropologist to. This proves the concept of human evolution. This make us reach Ngorongoro in the afternoon so will have lunch first. After the marvelous lunch at the lodge we will drive for 600m down the creator for afternoon game drive viewing different kind of wild animals since the parks accommodate large number of animals such as zebra, buffalo, eland, wildebeest, warthog etc. The park is also crowded with a lot of predators, such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetah and leopard. We will proceed to the lake Magadi an alkaline brood but no that deep allocated within the creator it is flooded with a good number of flamingo, hippos etc. Thereafter we return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro crater Arusha

This will be the last chapter of your tour adventure where you may decide to have an addition half day game drive around Ngorongoro in case you will not be leaving early but this goes along with an additional cost. So if not then you will be heading back to Arusha soon after your sweet breakfast it will take you 4 hours to reach Arusha covering a total distance of 190 km. Where you will have lunch then you will be transported to a hotel where our service ends. Note that you are supposed to tip your guide at least $20 per day.
