Day 1: Drive from Arusha to Marangu Gate

Early after breakfast, will drive to Marangu Gate for registrations formalities then will a day 1 Kilimanjaro Climb will start from 1860m? This will be not a long day trek up to 2700m, through montane forest habitat covering a total distance of 8km for about 3-4 hours to reach the first hut which is Mandara hut where you will have your dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Mandara Huts to Horombo Huts

Your second day of your Kilimanjaro tour will start after breakfast, you will proceed with the trekking along the mountain through heath land habitat, from the From Mandara Hut to Horombo hut will takes approximate about 5-7 hours to cover a distance of 12 km to reach the Horombo hut as your destination where you will have your dinner and overnight .

Day 3: Horombo Huts to Kibo Huts

Day three Kilimanjaro Climb will start very early; a day will be not too long but expect wind mostly in the saddle area. Horombo Huts elevation 3700 m till Kibo Huts 4700 m will takes you a half day to arrive in the base of Kibo where you will have a very early dinner and a last briefing about a summit time, overnight will be there at 4700 m thin air taking plenty of liquid is highly recommended.

Day 4: Kibo Huts to Uhuru Peak

Summit day which will normal be a long day on the mountain, this day will start after a midnight 00:30am ascending through the Swiss post via Williams point to Gilman’s point, this will take about 4hrs but will depend with your pace from there you will continue through a grater rim to Stela point, this will be at 05:45mn. Morning sunrise will be at this time from there to the main peak is like one hour and half, reach the main peak you take quick photos and continue descending to the base Kibo Huts for a little rest, hot lunch and descend to Horombo Huts for overnight, expect this day to take about 15hrs.

Day 5: Horombo Huts to Marangu Gate

This is another long day you need working poles to support you from this descent, you will start with this descent from Horombo Hut via Mandara Huts to the head quote’s, Marangu Gate where you will sign your Kilimanjaro Climb certificates, Your driver guide will be waiting for you in a Park Gate to pick up and transfer you back to your hotel in Arusha for overnight and end your Kilimanjaro Climb Tour Package.
