Kilimanjaro Marangu Route Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha to Marangu Park Gate

After breakfast your 5 Days Climb to Kilimanjaro tour will start with a drive from hotel, our guides will be there with some porters, to pick up and transfer you to Marangu National Park gate, for registrations formalities, After all that you will start your Kilimanjaro Trek 5 Days Marangu Route up to Mandara Hut.

Day 2: Climb Kilimanjaro Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut

Morning a day will be some how long 10-12 kilometers, from Mandara Hut to Horombo hut passing maundi crater, will inter a lash montane forest with our packed lunch or at some points will stop on the way and have some hot lunch in a halfway, will arrive at late evening at the Horombo Hut and stay overnight there.

Day 3: Climb Kilimanjaro Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut

Early in the morning, just after breakfast, our Kilimanjaro day 3 trek will start, one thing to keep on your mind is this is a summit day a slow pace will determine your chance to made it, so you have to listen to your body keeping drinking plenty of liquid till you get Kibo Hut, a stay at Kibo hut will be a resting time while your cook arranging something for dinner

Day 4: Climb Kilimanjaro Summit Day to Horombo Hut

This is you last ascent, your guide will wake up you and show you how you have to ware in first layers before you start a night ascent to Uhuru Peak, A hike up to Stela point will takes 4 hours and through the crater rim will take on hour and half to make to The Roof of Africa. Once you stand on top you don’t need to rest for many minutes as the weather on top may not be friendly with you so you stand a little time in the sign body take some quick pictures and the rest on the sun rise picture may be taken on the way down to Stella point, You will continue descending to the base have a little rest and go down back to Horombo Hut for overnight.

Day 5: Climb Kilimanjaro Horombo Hut to Arusha

Today in your 5 Days Climb Kilimanjaro via Marangu Route will proceed descending passing Mandara Hut till the start point Marangu National Park gate where you will get your award after a great Kilimanjaro Trek done, Few minutes to register and acquire your certificate our driver guide will be waiting for you to pick up and transfer back to Peace Hotel in Arusha for overnight which will be the end of our Kilimanjaro Trekking Package.
