Day 1: Drive from Arusha to Machame Gate

After breakfast will drive from your hotel in Arusha to Machame gate, reaching the gate you will begin trekking 11 km from the gate which is an elevation from 1830 m to 3050 m passing through montane forest habitat. After 5-6 hours you will reach your first destination at the Machame route camp where you will have dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Hike Machame Camp to Shira Camp

Will proceed from the previous destination moving 5km ahead, this is a height from 3050m to 3850m passing through moorland region where it will take you 4-5 hours, to reach the Shira camp where you will have dinner and overnight

Day 3: Hike Shira Camp to Barranco Camp

A steep hike will start from 3850m to 4000m covering a total distance of 10km from the hut. While trekking you will pass through Semi-desert climate taking you 5-6 hours, to reach the Barranco camp where you will have dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Hike Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp

After breakfast you will climb 9km towards the next destination which is a height from 4000m to 4700m through Alpine desert region. It will take you 6-8 hours to reach Barafu camp where you will have dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Hike Barafu Camp to Mweka Camp

Just after a midnight will ascend from 4700m to 5895m covering 5km reaching the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro and spend some few minutes. Thereafter we will descend 13km to the height of 3090m from the summit passing through Alpine desert climate. This will take you about 5-6 hour both up and down stopping at the Horombo hut where you will have dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Hike Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate

Final descent to the gate after breakfast, it will be your last day on the mountain. You will descend 10 km from the hut to height of 1680 m through montane forest habitat taking you about 3-4 hours to reach the gate. Our driver guide will be waiting to pick up and drive you back to your hotel in Arusha to end your Kilimanjaro Climb Package.
