Your adventure begins with a morning departure from Arusha, heading toward Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Upon arrival, you will complete park registration and embark on an exciting game drive, where you can spot a variety of wildlife, including lions, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and an abundance of bird species. In the late afternoon, you will head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, preparing for the journey ahead.
After an early breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you will have a chance to visit the Olduvai Gorge, a famous archaeological site where some of the oldest human fossils were discovered. Upon arrival in Serengeti, you will enjoy a picnic lunch before proceeding with an afternoon game drive to explore the rich wildlife in the Seronera region. In the evening, you will settle into your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
For the next two days, you will spend your time exploring the vast Serengeti Plains, tracking the Great Migration as wildebeests and zebras move in search of greener pastures. Depending on the season, you may witness river crossings, a thrilling spectacle where herds battle strong currents and hungry crocodiles. The Serengeti is also home to lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and a wide variety of antelopes. You will enjoy picnic lunches in the wilderness and continue exploring until sunset before returning to your accommodation for a hot shower and a well-deserved rest.
After a morning game drive in Serengeti, you will start your journey toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you will have the unique opportunity to visit a Maasai village, where you can learn about their traditions, dances, and way of life. After this cultural experience, you will proceed to Ngorongoro Crater, arriving in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.
Your final day starts with an early morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s most spectacular natural wildlife reserves. Here, you will explore the diverse landscapes and spot a variety of wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, hippos, and flamingos at the crater’s lake. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, you will ascend and drive back to Arusha, where you can rest at your hotel or be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
